Ang Pagbabalik

Isang tulog na lang nandito na ulit si Richard!

So ano ba ang ginawa ko this week aside from the usual household chores like laba, luto and plantsa?

For starters, I blogged, then I blogged, and I blogged again. Obvious ba from the number of entries that I posted starting Monday? I like blogging because it keeps my mind off things. It's my outlet.

I also discovered a lot of new blogsites (which I love sharing with my online buddy, Fides) thru Our Awesome Planet. My favorite so far is Francis M's multiply site, A Free Mind, where he posts some of his amazing photos. Hindi ko alam na he's into photography pala at ang galing nya! Na-inspire tuloy ako. Which leads us to the next item...

I tried reading my camera's manual so I can play around with the different functions. I have yet to finish the entire manual.

Akala ko I can make it through the entire week without going to the mall, but after being locked up inside the house for three days, I decided to go out today and do some shopping. Truth be told, I'm so inggit at my husband for being able to have dinner with our friends back in Manila -- even with my mom and dad! So I said to myself, it's no use sulking at home; Yan and I should also go out and have fun. So I called up the driver and asked him to pick us up today and bring us to Central Chidlom. Ang ganda naman talaga ng timing namin because they were having a crazy sale -- 50-90% off on selected items! Ang saya saya!

But more on that tomorrow. Right now I have to go to bed.

Google mo rin blog ni JIM PAREDES of APO HIKING. Deep ang thoughts niya. I am sure you will love his photos also.

By the way, how is Aly doing in school? My hugs to her too pls.

Hi teacher dee! Thanks for the tip! I've seen his daughter's blog and I think Awesome Planet posted a link to his blog too.

Yan will be starting school on Aug. 18 pa and she can't wait! Will post photos and updates :)

George had a look at francis m's photos. He said that the nice thing about francis' blog is that the latter gives a background on the pix that he takes. Jim paredes' is more portrait and gallery type of pictures. Have a read at jim's blog though. His perspective of the Philippines as a Pinoy outside looling in is quite interesting. I think you can relate with his views.

Teacher Dee - yeah, Francis M's photos have a short background nga, including the techinical stuff. That's why I was ganado to tinker with our camera -- kasi the camera that he used in some of his photos is the same as ours. At least I can use the same settings. But I'm still excited to see Jim Paredes' blog. Alam mo naman when you're in a different country, you kinda feel patriotic. Hehe!

Hi Chi!

Sige, I'll check bagaholicboy. Thanks for the tip! Grabe no, kakamiss talaga sa tin. Have you seen Carlos Celdran's blog? He's the guy who gives walking tours around Manila. Parang gusto ko ngang sumali sa tour nya pag balik namin. Hehe!

yup. ive seen carlos' blog. i heard about him thru my ofcmate.. oo nga e.. dami kong gustong puntahan sa pinas. i was telling nat na if we fly to manila in march, we should spend some days in palawan or batanes. uuwi rin ba kayo sa holyweek? if yes, maybe we can have a trip together. we've never really get to spend out-of-town overnights together!

oo nga no! never pa tayo nag-overnight ng out-of-town...sa bahay mo lang palagi. haha! sige, game si richard. ok din yun para maging magkalaro si maku and yan. wala nga lang silang holy week holiday dito kasi buddhist sila dba? ang equivalent nun is songkran holiday. think it falls on april din. i'm sure we can come up with something! i'll let you know.
