This recipe is actually for prawns but shrimp is very cheap here in Bangkok (only THB155 per kilo!) kaya pwede na rin! When I first made this dish, Richard and Aly loved it but they got so bitin that they requested for an encore -- on the same week!

This dish is super easy to make! First, you wash the shrimps then trim off the whiskers and legs with a pair of kitchen scissors. After that, you slit the back -- make sure that you do not cut all the way through -- and devein the shrimp.

Lay the shrimps on a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.

Stuff the shrimps with grated cheese and sprinkle with garlic butter. For the garlic butter, microwave chopped garlic and butter on high for one minute or until the butter melts.

Bake the shrimps until they turn pink and when the cheese melts. Squeeze lime/calamansi before serving. Best when served straight from the oven!
