Happy Mother's Day!

We interrupt my Hong Kong - Macau kwento so we can greet all the mommies back home (and in other parts of the globe!) who have a special place in our hearts :)
a
aStarting with, of course, my dear mommy :) For without her, I wouldn't be here. And without all the things and lessons that she taught me in life and at home, I wouldn't even dare call myself the domestic goddess.
a
a
My mom's "moment" during our wedding. Heehee! I love you, mom!
a
a
My mother-in-law, mama Lilia and to tita Tess who has been like a mother to Richard -- and even more because you inspired him to be the kind of man that he is today. And also to Richard's other titas: tita Mila, tita Rebecca, tita Jenny and tita Nora.
a
a
To my titas: Tita Papot, tita Vicky, tita Lori, tita Alice and tita Turibs.
a

(Left to right) Tita Papot, tita Lori, tita Vicky.

a(Standing, l-r) My cousins Erika, Nica, tita Papot, Angel, Mick, tita Lori, tita Vicky, daddy, Jof + Nikki. Seated, l-r: Gabbi, me + mom.
a
a
(l-r) My cousin-in-law Joanne, tita Lori, Angel, tita Papot, tita Vicky, Erika, tita Turibs, tita Alice + Nica.
a
a
Our wedding ninangs (l-r): ninang Bles, ninang Agnes, ninang Penny, ninang Marietta, ninang Ligaya, tita Vicky and ninang Cristy. Also in photo are our wedding ninongs (l-r): ninong Pab, ninong Carding, tito Harold (standing in for ninong Wowie), tito Robert (standing in for ninong Dazan), tito Toto, ninong Florentino and tito Jun.
a
a
My other ninangs (baptism) and my mom's friends: ninang Cookie and tita Ging, with mom and ninang Penny; flanked by ninong Edgard (l) and ninong Boy (r).
a
a
The hardworking mommies that I met when I was working in Highlands, and who remain my good friends up to this day: mommy Jeng, my boyfriend Brenda, Janet, France, Red, Liezl, Ma'am Annabelle and soon-to-be-mommy Kat.
a
a
During my 29th birthday (clockwise from left) Lette, Kat, Krisan, Brenda, France, Red, Jeng, Janet + Dionne. Standing behind us are Edward and Richard.

Christmas Dinner 2008 at Sonya's (l-r): Kat, Mia, France, Jeng, May, Liezl, Ms. Annabelle, Janet, Brenda, Kris + Lette.
a
a
My cousin Chi who is doing a great job of raising her super cute boy Maku in Australia (told you this is a worldwide shoutout!). In this photo with her husband Nat, she was still pregnant with Maku (this was back in 2006).
a
a
Another global friend, my kumareng Dy, who is also doing some super mommy work with baby Audrae in Belgium.
a
a
Dy's mom, tita Elba is also worth mentioning for the many afternoons that I spent with her making chika and all sorts of stuff back when I was still in college and after I got married. I miss those times, tita! In this photo (l-r) tito Harold, tita Elba, R+K, Dy + Gerald.
a
a
My cousin Joanne for giving me Gabbi and Moe, my favorite pamangkins in the world!
a
a
My new friend, Jenn -- thanks for all the mommy/Bangkok survival/baking/household tips that you shared with me. And for the nice afternoons that we spent with the kids at the mall :)
a
a
My online buddy, Fides. I owe you a lot for all the mommy tips that you shared with me!
a
a
I may not have a photo with you now, but I didn't forget about you: teacher Dee and my kumareng Venus in Canada. Happy mother's day to both of you too! I hope I didn't forget anyone.
a
a
Thank you to all you mommies! You have, in one way or another, inspired me to be the kind of mommy that I am now to my little girl.
