In exactly eight days from today, Aly will be turning seven. I'm excited! We're all excited! She actually started her birthday countdown on March 1st. Heehee!

The coming week will definitely be a busy one for me. First, there's exam week so we will be spending most afternoons brushing up on Aly's past lessons. Then, I also have to prepare for Aly's birthday thing with her classmates on Friday afternoon. Lastly, I also have to pack our stuff for our Hongkong trip next Saturday. All these on top of my usual household chores like grocery, laundry, ironing, cooking, etc., etc. Hoooboy!

For Aly's birthday celebration with her classmates, my real plan was to bake rainbow cupcakes, but I changed my mind and told Richard that I will just order cake instead. Unfortunately, Aly wants to have her rainbow cupcakes. It's going to be difficult with exam week and all, but I thought if the cupcake becomes a hit with the mommies, baka maging business pa! Hehe! I still don't know how I'll do it though.

For the lootbags, I'm going to drag my husband to Chinatown tomorrow whether he likes it or not. I'm looking for something simple and I promise not to work too hard on this because I want to have enough energy by the end of the week for Hong Kong!

Ah, yes...Hong Kong...In lieu of the big party in Manila that we had originally planned for Aly's birthday, we decided to go on a trip instead. You see, planning a party from overseas was very difficult for me. I tried laying the ground work during our trip in December. But here in Bangkok, just thinking about the party gave me anxiety attacks. I never thought that party planning would give me nightmares, but this one did. Plus, when Richard and I saw how much a big party would cost, we decided to look for other options. Sigh...if only we had an unlimited budget...Anyway, so that's how we ended up with our Hongkong trip. We promised Aly that instead of a big party back home, we will go to Disneyland instead.
